Wow, I just completed the most difficult week of school I think I have ever experienced. Due to an incredibly frustrating A&P 1 lab teacher last Fall, I am currently taking my A&P 1 lab along with A&P 2 lecture and lab. I had both the midterms last week, and I am still trying to catch up on sleep.
I hope everyone else is plugging along!
The semester is half-way over!! Woohoo!!

I'm not doing as well as I would like to, or usually do in school for that matter!!!
It's all of the cellular level stuff, with the chemicals and such...UGH!! Maybe I'm NOT supposed to be a NURSE after all!

Re: A&P II Winter/Spring '08

We had our test on the respiratory and digestive systems last night. I studied my brains out for this test, and I felt ok about it when I walked out of there, but that's never the most accurate gauge of how I do.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way to cram massive amounts of information into my brain and keep it there for exams. When I got home and started looking stuff up in my book I know I have missed at least 4 questions, and probably more, so I probably did about the same as always. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, or not doing, or whatever. I guess I shouldn't be too upset, because I score above the class average, but before I took the anatomy series I had a 4.0 and last quarter I got a 3.5 and I'm struggling to get the same grade in the second quarter.

Since our program is so competitive, it's massively stressful isn't it? Ah well, the quarter is nearing its end, and I know I'll survive. We all will!

I like her a lot. Between her and Doc C (local, even!), I'm getting a really good grasp of what the book is showing. I think they may even use the same text, though maybe a different edition. Bonus!

Re: A&P II Winter/Spring '08

This is going to be rough so I'm asking for help. Last Monday we started our new topic on Lymphatic System and Immunity. He started going over a hand out that he had slides for but didn't actually have the hand outs for so we really couldn't follow along.

Last night we have a cardiovascular lab so nothing pertaining to the new topic. He did, however, give us the handouts and announce that this coming Monday we will have more lecture on the new subject then our exam on Wednesday.

That doesn't leave much time to study the new material, just Tuesday night. So I am asking, oh great board of pre-nursing students taking Anatomy and Physiology II, does anyone have any notes they could post or a website I could study so I can review over the weekend?

Any help would be much appreciated!

At the risk of repeating myself, the lectures on iTunes are GREAT. I think the couple of links a few posts back are pretty good, too.
