On Saturday night I get home and go to put something on top of my car and realize that I have a huge dent in the roof. Now I know what the huge noise was. I come to find out that my BIL who was also parked in the street has the same dent in his roof. I am so ****** right now. My deductible is 1000.00 but I want to get my car fixed since I paid so much for it and I do not want it looking like crap.

As an added gift the moron left 2 footprints on my roof (he wears K Swiss sneakers). My BIL thinks that they were skateboarding on the roofs hence the sound of scraping. I guess that I got the footprints because they realized that my antenna was in the way.

I have to call the police this morning to get a report made out for my insurance company. I got hit in 2005 at my job (I did not realize it until later that night) and that cost me another 1000.00. I was going to lower my deductible but never got around to doing it.

Oh well - this sucks.
Man thats awful, why are people so disrespectful to others property. I wish they would catch him make him pay that deductable. Its like you cant have a car in NY without a damn garage to park it in. I would really like to get a car but i can't afford it and i don't want to go through the madness. I know a nurse that bought a brandnew car, had to wait for it from the manufactures and what not , litterally not even a week she brought it home and someone scraped one huge deep line right down the side of her car and all the other cars that were parked on her block.

Seriously, they do want to make sure we are strong enough...is it just me or has anyone discovered a new found respect for any recent RN graduate or what? I can't believe people have gone through all this torture and survived!

Like taking the NLN wasn't hard enough that day, sitting in a room full of mostly strangers all competitors, for almost a total of 4 hours, then wanting to cry right after wondering if knowing what a king being crowned is called is good enough to get you by on the silly electrical circuit questions...then they make you wait 2 weeks? Hopefully this week will go by fast. My boyfriend was like, "so what are we going to do that day...I think it's Wednesday" and I say, "wow, you're awesome already trying to celebrate but let's wait until I get the scores in my hands before we start planning and I don't know how you can be so sure that it's coming on Wednesday" and he says, "uhh, no..I was talking about Valentines day" LOL....it's sooooo on my mind too guys.

LOL, he's must have been like "scores! woman its valentine's day!!!!" LOLOL man this is real torture.

Ive come to conclusion that the NLN is like walking over hot coals, you know how people are made to do it, to test their manhood or womanhood, like its their rebirth. Thats the NLN, walking over hot coals to see if we are worthy of nurse-hood. Only thing is that its take damn near 3 weeks to get across those hot coals instead of a couple of minutes or seconds.

Now back to my vampires and werewolves, im telling you it works, im so ingrossed in the story i don't have time to think about it, and im going to clean my apartment today too it looks like hell.

Vampires and werewolves,hu? I might have to try that. I already did the cleaning thing. My house was a disaster. My hubby even helped, can you believe it???? Wow, I was impressed!!
That stinks about the car Tracy! People that do stuff like that have no idea how hard we work to get what we have. It would be nice if they caught them, probably some young punks without a pot to **** in. That kind of stuff just infuriates me! Hopefully someday the jerks will have someone do something like that to them but only twice as bad.
So, I'm trying to keep my mind off of these darn results. We are going to diner with Aunt and Uncle tonight, I probably won't be much fun. I have tons of homework to do too. Hopefully them come in tomorrow. On one hand I am scared at the thought of them coming in. Atleast now there is some hope, what if they come in and that hope goes down the tubes?? Okay, scaring myself, I need some vampires right about now...

Hairtocare: Did you take your test at Bluefield State? Ha...if so we might have been in the same room together.

So sorry about your car/brat kids who wrecked it Tracy. As if worrying about NLN wasn't enough.

Oh well guys...let's hope for TOMORROW!

Re: NLN Results....

I got my results back, they must have come on saturday because they were in my mailbox today and mail doesn't come until 3pm. That really was fast, only a week for mine to come in and although I didn't do so hot...I didn't fail like I thought I would. I really wanted to do better to get extra points to get in but at least I still qualify to apply which was my biggest worry. Hopefully I'll get my CNA creditation in before the completion deadline so I still have a hope to get in for fall. At this point though, it looks like I'll be in for Spring '08.....starting to think about what I can do for a whole semester while I wait. Good luck guys, hope you guys did better than I did!

Re: NLN Results....

Praise the Lord they're in!!! First let me tell you how I found out they were in....I found out at 1pm--just as my teacher walked in give us our A&P II test...I struggled with the test and before lab started I drove home (thank God I have a 5 minute commute) and slid into my driveway (we still have snow and ice)..ran across the road to the mailbox and ripped the envelope open. I'm happy to report that I made a 135!!! I'm in the 97th percentile for my school (I think..not sure how these things are graded) and that should be enough to get me in...(I heard 120 or better). So I was shoutin and singin and oh so happy! Now maybe I can concentrate on this micro exam I have tomorrow!!!!

Thanks for being supportive of this frazzled chickie!!!

Re: NLN Results....

Yeah, I didn't even expect my envelope to be there, thought it was junk or a bill and then saw the yellow logo and my body turned to jello...I still had to walk halfway down the block to get home. It's so nerve racking.
Mystiqx sounds like yours will probably be in today too. Seems like today was the day for most of us.
