Has anyone here take NET test? I want to find out what the reading test is like? Is NET test done with computer instead of scantron? How many questions are on the reading test? Does anyone here have a tips on how to pass the reading test?

I took it and passed, last month. Just get the study guide. The test is pretty easy, it is just basic. You don't really need the study guide but I would advise that you get it. It is made up just lik the actual test is, and that will make you way more comfortable, because it will be familiar to you. Ohh and you may take it on computer or the paper and pencil test with the scan tron. It depends on you school. When I went to take my test I took it on computer, but we had so many people taking it that some people had to take the paper and pencil. It got to a point where they had to do a lottery to see who could use a computer. Pros and cons:

with the computer you can get your grads right after you finish (depending on the school), you usually finish faster with the computer like in an hour and a half or 3 hours, but you have 2 and half hours, with the computer you can't go bac and change your answers.

with paper and pencil you can go back and change your answers, you have to wait like 2 weeks to get your scores, you have an hour longer to complete the test, that the people who take the computer test do you'll most likely need that extra hour.

And that is about it.

I bought the NET study guide as well, and really like it. I think it is money well spent. I just wish it was a thicker book with more practice test! lol

I'll probably take the NET in January.

Good luck on your test!
