Moving On?

I've been a rather shy poster on the boards, but have been here for certain, rooting everyone on, celebrating with those who have been accepted and feeling the pain of those denied, whether I posted or not. I've learned that there are some really special folks on these boards who always have wise things to say. Now that many have been accepted, I'm wondering if folks will be moving on to the general nursing student discussion? I know we'll all get so busy, but I'm hoping to keep up with everyone. Cool Peach, Friendly Ghost, Hotflashn and so many others....just want to thank you for all the good encouragement you've given. It's so nice that there are so many who understand this wonderful, terrifying path we're embarking upon. So many on the outside don't understand.

To those just beginning, hang in there. Those pre-reqs are hard work and the days of waiting are just killer, but you can do it. Never give up. To those still waiting, don't despair. If it's what you want, go for it. Hang on.

I plan to hang out mostly here until September. Then I'll migrate to the General Nursing Student discussion. Although I'm sure I'll check back and check out the chemistry thread!!

Re: Moving On?

Are you kidding me....I love it here. You folks will have to kick me out before I'll be going anywhere. I am all over the place right now (general nursing, graduate nursing, and cna). I think I have forum ADD!!!! The prenursing group is my favorite, and I can't imagine not coming here everyday. I am not going anywhere!

Re: Moving On?

I will for sure still be here! I know it is hard to see people move on, I have had so many friends get in and move on. I have been checking out the other areas but I will be keeping tabs on those that are in need of some advice and words of wisdom.
If you ever get down, just send me a message! I am always happy to give some advice or help with some motivation. These are hard times and who better to ask then those who have been there.
Just please don't give up! Quitters never win, Winners never quit! Even when you are the last one standing... you are still standing!
The lesson that I have learned most is patience, persistence and passion. They will get you where you need to go!
(( Big Hugs ))

Re: Moving On?

What a sweet post! I know I will likely stick around for some time. I haven't really moved over to general nursing student forum yet. I don't feel ready as it is still sinking in that I got accepted! Plus it was a another poster (JBRN2B) that really helped me through these last months. Had she left this forum when she got into NS, it would have been just that much harder for me, so I am glad that people don't just leave. Though I am not sure I will be able to find as much time once Sept rolls around. Though, this board is my procrastination arena. You can bet if you see a post by me I was supposed to be doing homework of some sort! Like now, when I am supposed to be studying for my final, not sitting here drinking coffee reading the boards!
