I’m so sorry you have to repeat. That must be devastating. You say you can’t “finish nursing.” Are you already in a nursing program? I only ask because at our school micro is basically a pre req. I think it is possible to leave it until you start the program, but I’d never heard of it being done that way (because the “points” a good grade earns would help get you into the program in the first place). Does your situation leave you where you aren’t able to continue with your nursing class and clinicals until you pass micro? That’s horrible. I wish you all the best for your retake of the course—it should be a breeze second time around.

This will be my last semester of prerequisits, and it will include Micro. and Developmental Psy, as well as Literature. I look forward to starting Nursing courses in Fall 08.

Hello. I am taking Micro and Chem. I'll take Anatomy in the summer and Physiology in the Fall. AHH!! I wish I would have known I wanted to be a nurse a year ago and could have gotten these silly pre-reqs out of the way and on my way to a University. Oh well. Anyway! Good luck to everyone! Don't be nervous about this class if you already took API&II. You will do fine and find that alot of the material collaberates with your ap material. The material is interesting and I enjoyed the class alot (unfortunately I got a B though). Just wanted you to know that you do not need to worry.

Yeah i am already in the program. Micro is a pre-req but it can be taken anytime until you can enter adv. med surg. which at my school is the final nursing class you can take. I was suppose to be going into my last semester Jan 10 but it looks like I will have to have micro then and then finish my last semester in Aug. I don't know that i would ever call micro a breeze..... lol...... but i'll work harder this time.

I will be taking micro in a few weeks and I am totally freaking out!! I am also taking chemistry. I am a SAHM and graduated college 7 years ago so I hope my brain can get back in school mode!! Good luck to us all. I know we can do it!!

hi - I'm a SAHM about to tackle Micro and Human Development this semester, which starts on Jan 14th. This is my third semester back in school after 10 years! (I have a degree in another field). It will be great to talk to others who are taking this class at the same time.
