Re: interview info

I just recently had some interviews for two ADN programs here in NY and the main questions that they seemed to both ask were things like your strengths/weaknesses, what your definition of the role of a nurse is, why you want to be a nurse, why were you interested in their school, and if you had any previous experience working in a healthcare field. Asides from that, they went over things like their curriculum, any general ed. classes that might transfer, etc. One of the schools had me write a short paragraph about why I would be a good candidate for their school, though that was mainly just to make sure that students could write and spell properly. Also, if you had to write an essay for the application, I found it helpful to re-read over that because I was asked some questions based around what I wrote. Hope that helps and good luck!!
