Need Information - Hunter , Adelphy

Hi
I'm doing the prerequisites for nursing program and I'm going to apply to the BSN generic pathway at Hunter in the fall 2009. I have heard that they only accept people with GPA above 3.8. Is that true?
Does anyone have any information about Adelphy College ? Is Adelphy's degree highly regarded?
