Fetal pig

Ok i have a practical this week over the dissections of our fetal pig. I am unable to see the pig to review only my book which is hard. Anyone take pictures that they would like to share? Id greatly appreciate it!!

Thanks!

Re: Fetal pig

Usually you are allowed a ton of time in lab to visualize the fetal pig before the practicum..

Are they not letting you, or are you not able to get there to see it?

That just seems odd to me, but i may be missing something obvious..i am tired..

Re: Fetal pig

I'm with Meghan. Did you ask your instructor if you could go to the lab during off hours to study the specimen? Most lab instructors I know (and I know a few) let their students know when they can come in during non class hours to practice, etc.

I would also like to add (nicely) that you would do well to explore some of the better known search engines in the internet for assistance in your studies. It will save you tons of grief and time while you're in school. Google has tons of links, pictures, scholarly articles, etc. You'll find it's a gold mine of information.

Re: Fetal pig

Ok I wouldnt go that far as to take it home!

However, I did spend a lot of time in open lab..usually later at night when all classes were done, where the prof. was there to help us out. He usually held open lab the week before each practicum..

Thanks for that link!

I took pictures of my fetal pig, and then labeled the different structures when I got the pictures back. I've always wondered what the people at the photo processing place thought when they saw the pictures.
