I had to call and my admissions counselor had to admit me manually. It said they were waiting on a transcript from a school I was just taking one class at this semester and I knew I would not be able to get that transcript until June. So she said because it is a 2nd BSN and not a Masters program she could just admit me and I got my letter like a week or so later. If you have not gotten anything yet I would call admissions. That way you can send your actual proof to the nursing dept since that is one of the application requrements.

Where did you call? I've applied to CSUN as well. Are you a CSUN student already?

i called the admissions office and the lady admitted me to the school right over the phone because she saw that i met all the requirements. i got the csun acceptance letter in the mail...now if only it will be that easy with their nursing department...

Ugh... so they lost my bundle of transcripts that I have sent to the Admission office... I'm super annoyed. But good thing I called after reading the forum!

I called the csun admissions office yesterday and they accepted me into the grad. program right over the phone! I am so happy now, that was really stressing me out. Now we just have to wait for the nursing department to call us.

Hey what's the phone # that you called? I only see a fax #.

call 818-677-1200. Then say Admission and Records. Then press 4. Then 4 again.

I called 3 different times and the first 2 times they just said that I would have to wait. The 3rd time I got a different lady and she evaluated my application over the phone and accepted me.

If you call and they still won't accept you...call back and try to get another person.

Yes, you should get a letter in about a week or two saying you have been admitted as a grad student. I was lucky I got mine right before the Febuary 1st application deadline so I just submitted it with my whole packet. I was told by the Nursing dept however, that the admissions letter is the only thing you can send in seperatley and after the deadline .
