hello everyone... i interviewed with csun last week... it was ok... i was a little dissapointed in myself... also, i can't believe i forgot to ask when i should expect to hear back from them!!! so now i'm back to waiting... i'll update again when i hear something... hopefully it'll be good news but i'm guessing that if i don't hear from them soon it means that i didn't get in

Thanks for updating maybemaybenot, it's good to hear at least someone else got an interview. I hope you get good news next week. Who did you interview with? What type of questions did they ask? Did they give you any idea how many people were invited for interviews. Just curious how it all went? Thanks!

thanks for the update maybemaybenot! just curious, did u meet all the requirements that would have given you "priority"? I'm just trying to get a sense of the type of applicant they chose to interview because I met everything and then some and still haven't heard anything. Also, for all of you, I heard that they might be developing a third cohort starting in Sept. I hope that's true.Good luck! Keep us updated.

You guys! I just found out an hour ago that I was accepted into the fall cohort of 18 students !! I'm so excited. I interviewed last Friday and was asked two simple questions and really didn't know how it was going to go. The interview was about 15 minutes, really fast. Anyway I have to make my decision by Wednesday afternoon, but I'm leaning to attend CSUN. Post if you were accepted too!

I don't think I got in, but congrats! What questions did they ask you? If you don't mind me asking what background in education or career did you have? I am just trying to find out what they were looking for. I have a background in Language Arts, and when I applied they told me that was fine, but now I am just debating whether they really wanted science degrees?

hello there,
update---after my interview I got a phone call that I've been accepted for the summer group. Excited!! (and also nervous since I haven't had a science class since May 2007). I haven't received the official letter in the mail yet. it sounds like the Fall group is still being decided. I had applied for either start date.

i got accepted into the fall program today! yay! i'm on 2 other waitlists for msn programs... but i guess i'll just take csun! (=

my interview was about 10-15min with 2 people

good luck to those of you still waiting! don't be discouraged! the accelerated bsn program at csu san marcos is still taking applications until 5/23 i think. also, oklahoma univ's accelerated "online" bsn program in san diego is taking applications until 6/1! you can find them on rn.ca.gov
