Npatient how did your interview go this week? When did they say they would let you know if you got in?

I haven't heard a thing. I wonder if that is bad news. I only applied to the fall program, however. Did anyone else get a call?

Hi Hope and Kathy! I haven't heard a peep out of CSUN either. I applied for summer and fall. If they had tons of qualified applicants, the selection process will be quite arbitrary. CSUN's the first and only nursing school to which I've applied. Right now I'm looking into other schools and options. I'm finishing Physio and Micro in June and I don't want to wait another year before starting nursing school! Time is money! Anyway, have a great weekend ladies. Take care ~FNP

Hi everyone, any news yet? I haven't heard anything from them since they called to tell me that I needed to take lifespan psych.

Nothing yet. But FYI Passion I took lifespan last summer through ITV and it was a super easy class and only 8 weeks. You only have to go to campus one day a week for 3 hours and the rest is home study. HPH!

As for this selection process not sure what the heck is happening. I sure hope the selection for Fall does not drag into the summer...

still nothing... the last time i called they said they would get back to us by late april/early may... but who knows what's going on since they seem to be reeeeeeeeeally slow... does anyone want to call?... hopefully we'll hear by next week!

ok, so I decided I would give it a shot and call them again. They said the process is being completed right now and will be done within the next week. So sort of the same info we have been hearing. I don't feel very hopeful at this point since I have not even gotten a call for an interview I don't know that I will. But oh well, just having the whole wait be over will be a relief. Those that have interviewed, please post your experience, it will be good to know for future applications if I don't make it this time. Good luck everyone!

i emailed them and they said that applications are still under review... i'm not feeling so confident anymore... they said that i should expect to hear from them in the next couple weeks =(

Hi Hope, thanks for letting me know about the lifespan pysch. Nice to know that my summer isn't gonna be as awful as i thought it would be.
I know how you feel. By now, they should have selected their strong/potential candidates. I just hope they would be considerable enough to let me know if I am not one of those students instead of leaving me hanging. I guess they are sending all the acceptance/rejection letters at once.
