Now, just to make sure I pass O chem!

Good luck!
Congratulations Hotflashn! Now you can go out and party! I'm sure you WILL pass OChem & make a great nurse . & thank you again for being such an encouragement for me in these hard times.

Oh, and Krista, I'm not sure if they send out the acceptance/rejection letters alphabetically. Hotflashn just got her acceptance letter, so I'm sure yours will be coming in the mail soon. I still cannot believe you didn't make it into Sac! That's ridiculous. You're smart and such a competitive candidate. & I'm taking Subramanian AGAIN for Ochem @ Solano. Big mistake....

Julianne, Don't worry im sure you will do awesome! I took it at Solano too... but last semester. I can't believe your taking Micro and OChem at the same time! Micro is kicking my butt lately... how are you doing in both classes?

Oh that's good.
You may want to make an appt. now to have all your vaccinations brought current. You will need to at least have started with the first of the three Hep B. Also you will want to get your Tuberculin test done.
So exciting!!

Best regards,
Jean

I'm doing pretty well in Micro, I have like an 87.58% right now, but I'm trying to reach for that A. I'm worried about the lab final because I heard lots of people did well throughout the course but slipped because of that test. OChem is the one that's kicking MY butt right now! I've been slacking off because I would only need OChem for CSU-EB, and I was hoping to get into SFSU (which didn't require it), and on top of that, I have to balance it with Micro, Poli Sci & Humanities . I think I go a little psycho when registering for classes, I took Anatomy, Physio & Nutrition last semester and everyone just thinks I'm crazy. But this semester ain't no joke

Thankfully this is the only class I've taken at a Solano, so at least it doesn't ruin my Napa transcript, hallelujah

I get my first Hep B shot this weekend. I have all my other shots current :-) SFSU requires 2 of the 3 before entry... hope 2 done same time June...

I still don't know what next... I know we need to buy Stethoscopes, penlights, calculators, uniform, white shoes... what else? I am clueless about SFSU, anyone have any more 411?

Congratulations to you all :-)

Julz you have a great vibe about you. I really wish you the best :-)

Re: CSUEB anyone?

Hello there all...I too was stressing out waiting for the notification, and was surprised when the letter came in the mail and not via e-mail. For those of you still waiting, don't give up. They do the admission in waves, so the first round of people have been notified. We have until May 19th to let them know if we plan to attend or not, then they will continue to go down the list to fill the remaining spots. I believe those notifications will come via e-mail (at least that's how it worked last year).

Does anyone have any pros or cons for the Hayward campus VS the Concord campus?? Thanks and good luck to everyone!

Congratulations on your acceptance cindaisy!

But im having trouble understanding this process. I have yet to receive a rejection e-mail and have no mail. How is it that they do it in waves? Do they send acceptance letters to all of the seats, and then those seats who do not want to attend, they then send out more acceptance letters to fill the rest of the spots? Im going crazy just a little bit... I at least want to know if I have been rejected already...

Re: CSUEB anyone?

Basically they have so many spots lets say 130 and they will send out acceptance to the top 130 people. Those people have until a certain date to respond if they will take that spot. Also keep in mind that some people are finishing up prerequisites and must pass those classes. Lets say 100 people respond they will accept the spot. Then they will go down the list and offer to the next 30 people on the list.
They don't tell you where you are ranked on the list.

Congratulations, Cindaisy! I haven't weighed any of the pros or cons of either campus other than one is closer to my home. That is all the pro I need!

Now with all the "to-dos" to get done, I am running ragged trying to get it done in time. It is hard to get an appt for physicals and get the labs done for proof of immunity - I don't have an immunization record.
