Need Information - cna

hello i am intrested in applying to a nursing progam in the houston area. I have a previous degree in biology with a 2.9 gpa i still have to take micr, a and p 1, psycology class and statistics. if i make b's in these class do you think i would have a chance for the texas nursing schools i know there very competitive

I don't really know anything about the schools in Texas, but I think if you can get B's in those subjects you should stand a good chance at getting in. I had B's in most of my science courses and I just found out I got accpeted into a nursing school here in NY. Most schools will look at not just your GPA, but also any entrance exam scores, references, and your personal essay, so it really is about the whole package, not just one area. Best of luck to you!!

You can also try posting in the Texas forum and see if anyone goes to the schools you would be applying to and can offer some insight. It will be under the Regions tab at the top.
