Exclamation Question - Can low TEAS hurt?

Hello to you all, this is my first post.

I just found out that I am alt. #6 and this program wants me to test tomorrow (May 3). I have not studied a lick. I am not just worried about not being accepted in this particular program, but how a low score will affect my other applications. Should I still do it? My gut feeling is to wing it.

Thanks~

Re: Can low TEAS hurt?

Well, you're probably testing by now, so good luck!

The TEAS is not so bad, but a low score can definitely hurt you. If you're pretty good with general knowledge stuff, you should be fine.

Let us know how you do!

Thumbs up Re: Can low TEAS hurt?

OK, it took 2 hours and I earned 89.4. It wasn't that bad. Science, other than health stuff, was the hardest for me. Thanks for the encouragement.

Re: Can low TEAS hurt?

Congratulations on passing the TEAS test. I'm taking mine on the 7th of May. I'm anxious about the test. I have been studying. Which program are you attending?

Re: Can low TEAS hurt?

Thank you. Today's test was for Santa Rosa JC. I just got another letter from Mendocino College in Ukiah saying I am the #4 alt. They just went to lottery in the moddle of this application period. I don't know what to think.

TEAS was fairly easy-math and science were the ones requiring work. Good Luck on yours. Where are applying?

Re: Can low TEAS hurt?

Thanks, and Congratulations! I'm sure you will be chosen for the lottery. I already got accepted in Ohlone College, but I still need to take the TEAS in able to enroll. Good Luck to you!
