i applied last year with 23 points and i got rejected.
this time around, i got accepted with 31+ points. =D
i am very suprised, because the odds of gettin in were alot slimmer since mountain view closed down.
i am jumping for joy... but i am getting overwhelmed by the worries of how i'm going to pay for tuition, how i'm gonna deal with having no social life, and if it is going to be difficult! i'm gonna try to just deal with being happy for today!!!! =D good luck

I thought I would be screaming non stop, but honestly I feel like I am in shock. I am waiting for it to set in, and I keep checking to make sure it's real. I haven't made a call or told anyone yet except you guys. OMG we made it!!!!

I applied with 22 points last semester, but didn't make it.

I went back and retook chem to turn my B into an A which took my pre req GPA from 3.8 to 4.0.
I got the 3 extra points for having applied.
Finished the two pre reqs I had been taking the semester I applied with gave me a couple more points.
I also retook the hesi which I had an 85 on , and turned it into a 90.

I reapplied with 34.something points and made it.

i know what u mean, i can't believe it myself. i feel like i'm dreaming and i'm scared to wake up! i had to call brookhaven's office to make sure they weren't kidding... and then i accepted the offer! =D

That is awesome for both of you. I still have End of Life and Pharm. which I'm taking this summer. Then, I think I'm just going to re-take the HESI next month as well. I only made 84 on it.
I did hear people in class today saying since Mountain Vew post-poned thier program, a lot of them just didn't apply because Brookhaven and their clinicals are just too far for them to drive. Kind of good in our case.

I just wanted to say Congrats. Last semester I remember reading your disappointment about not getting in the program. So I am very excited for you.
I got in at El Centro for Fall08.
