Have you been actually accepted into the ADN program and then have to complete your prereqs? or are you starting with prereqs then have to apply to ADN program once completed? Usually like Boonersmom wrote you would definetly have an orientation before school starts. If you answered yes to the first question...I would like the name of that school for a friend of mine. I think all schools should do that. Let me know.

Ps. I had to do it the second way...prereqs first, then application and teas test to get in..after sweating bullets...and playing the waiting game..I start this September.

I wish you all the best either way.
Technically speaking- I COULD have applied dircectly into the ADN program, however I would have never gotten accepted, without the pre/co-reqs done.

I am a liberal arts major right now, that way i am eligible for financial aid, and then next spring will apply to the ADN program, and these pre/co-req's will be accepted into that program.

I am taking the NLN exam this december, that is another requirement of the ADN application.

The way my school basis your acceptance is on a number of things, including the ## of pre/co-reqs done and the GPA on them, by doing it this way, I am able to increase my "odds" of gettin in.

Hmm I'm surprised that you didn't get some kind of print out when you first registered and signed up for your classes. Even without financial aid, they should have given you something.. Granted, I have financial aid, but I would have thought that they would have given you something... Thats kind of weird... But every school is different I guess...
