Re: Anyone taken HESI A2 admission assessment test yet?

OMG I cant believe you remember all that from the A&P section Jason! I do not remember anything. hahah I was so nervous. Anyway, everything is easy on the HESI except for the A&P section. I thought it was very hard and the HESI Study Guide was no help with that section. Well it was a little but over all I was lost the whole entire time. Anyway, study the A&P section with another study guide and you will be fine. Good luck!

Re: Anyone taken HESI A2 admission assessment test yet?

I have a question about the HESI A2 is A&P and Chem apart of the science section or are they individual sections? For my school we have to do the science portion but it doesn't count. So I dont want to waste my time studying on something that isn't even counted. I hear this test is HARD!!

Yes, the A&P and Chem sections are two different sections. I think they're both 25 questions each. I didn't think the chemistry was that bad, even though chemistry is my worst subject. Even if it's not counted, I would still do those sections. Someone, somewhere is going to see those scores and it's better if it looks like you have some aptitude for doing well in science courses than none....trust me. The A&P tends to be a little harder to study for because thier is so much content, but if you study what's in the guide, you'll be fine. Good luck!

Okay thank you. You're right I know somebody is looking at those scores so I should be reviewing for them. I hate chem too so I know I NEED to study that. So what does the science section consist of then, is that the bio part

Re: Anyone taken HESI A2 admission assessment test yet?

I didnt have to take the Chemistry section, but I did have to take the A&P section. The hesi study guide was very LITTLE help. Thank GOD I studied A&P outside the guide. I did type the study guide's A&P section into my own notes to study here at work if you want them. I am glad I did study what was in there bc it has been about 3 years since I took A&P1. IT was a good general review, nothing in depth.

PM me if and I can email you what I do have!

I agree, the study guide is worthless for the A&P section, though it is perfect for the Math section.

Get "A&P for dummies" or similar, and then just study each system. A&P is my strongest subject, and yet I really found the A&P section difficult. As NJRNtobe said, it's a huge amount of material. Somehow they condense a year's work into 35 questions...

Do you mind sharing which Hesi study guide you are referring to?

Thanks.
