Anyone still in shock??

I got my acceptance letter over two weeks ago and I am still compulsivly checking this PRE nursing student forum... Oh well, maybe in august I'll start reading the regular nursing student forum. I think once it sinks in that I'm actually in nursing school I will start freaking out. sooo scary! I can't wait!

Re: Anyone still in shock??

I totally agree. When I first started taking classes this time seemed such a long way off and now it is only a few short weeks away. I always wanted to be a nurse, I never thought it would actually happen. Crazy!!

Re: Anyone still in shock??

Yep, I just got my letter one week ago and I'm definitely in shock. All last year I thought it was a huge long shot to get in for the fall, because I was still working on my prereqs through the spring. So when I heard there were still spots open, I was really surprised, and now I'm in for the fall! I keep thinking, OMG now I actually have to become a nurse! It felt like it would never happen while plugging away at those prereqs.

I'll probably hang out here until I start classes in the fall, but I have been checking that forum more often!

Shock?? Is that what this feeling is!!! haha I couldn't sleep the night I got my letter. I have been walking around with this smile on my face that I'm sure Nursing school this fall with wipe off!!! But I just feel so good about myself. I never thought I'd actually make it, or I thought it would take longer. It's absolutely unbelievable. I go Wednesday to be fitted for my uniforms and I cannot wait!! 4 semesters....we can do this!!! YIPPEY!!!
