Anyone know the program for Digital Recorders?

Hey everyone!

So I started my summer semester today, and was so happy to purchase a handy-dandy digital recorder....

One problem. I cannot for the life of me remember what the name of that program is that you can transfer your files to the computer. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? The name, how to get it, and any other info would be MUCH MUCH MUCH appreciated!!

Hoping to use this baby as much as possible for A&P I and II, at least!!

there should have been a CD that came with your recorder...did your recorder come with a USB cord? if it didnt then it doesnt have the capability to transfer files to the computer...the first one i bought didnt have it and i had to return it...some ppl buy the recorders to record a lecture, listen to it and then erase it...what kind did you buy? i have a panasonic and its ok...more than likely if your recorder didnt come with the software then you cant put the files on your computer if it doesnt have a USB port then you definetly cant! well...i guess you could play it and use the microphone on your comptuer..maybe..it would be bad quality...

Noooooo!!!

I'm sorry to hear that Eliza girl ...other than that, how's life at Columbia and NYC treating you?

Thanks again for replying, ELKMN, I returned it that night and got the Olympus one with the USB and CD-rom (the Panasonic doesn't offer it anymore..at least not through Office Depot )

I had major problems with it stopping in A&P today, but hopefully that's resolved.

Phew, got it to work, but couldn't hear (good thing yesterday's lectures were not super content-intense) so today I put it on the podium.

New York is great, I'm a little irritated w/school because we had a long lecture about the vast superiority of BSNs to ADNs today which frankly irritated me. You can read all about it on the "do NPs do surgery?" thread over in the NP forum. Why yes, it is one am, and yes, I am too lazy to link to it! Thank Jeebus I get tomorrow off because clinicals don't start until next week, after our SECOND round of PPD results comes back. Why two, you ask? Haven't the foggiest. I need to have a smoke and go to bed now. We had ten hours of class today, not including the two 1-hour breaks, so I was in school from 8-8, and spent the second break at the bookstore buying, I kid you not, 43lbs of books, no really, I just went and weighed them in the middle of typing that sentence. Clearly I've lost my mind, so good night. :hatparty:
