They might be covered in another system. Nutrition is usually covered in nursing school separately or a required separate course, but may be touched on in the digestive system. The lymphatic system sometimes is covered with the circulatory system, which may cover some aspects of immunity. The nervous system, particularly the brain, is where we studied thermoregulation. Metabolism can be a multisystem process and may be touched on the endoccrine system, especially when the thyroid is studied, and the digestive system.

So while they may not be separate topics you should learn about it as they are important processes.

Good luck.

These WOULD be covered had I taken A+ P2 at the same campus I took A+P 1 at ( I know b/c I bought the powerpoints from my AP+1 teacher as I really liked her layout)..but I had to switch campuses for scheduling.

So basically I will finish A+P 2 at this campus...and be 2 "systems" and 1 "area" of education not taught at all. I guess I have to learn them on my own ( I can do this)but I'm really confused as to why 1 school w/ 3 different campuses would have different criteria at each campus.

The only thought I have is that it's a shorter semester ( 10 weeks summer instead of 14 weeks fall)...but I can't imagine just chopping out the entire immune and lymphatic systems.

Has anyone gone through A+P 1 and 2 and had a system NOT covered?
Immune and lymphatics are often covered better in pathophysiology...as is thermoregulation. Nutrition is most often a course by itself, often not a required course.

We didn't cover those in Anatomy but we did cover Lymphatic and Immune in Microbiology and then Nutrition and metabolism in my required Nutrition class. We covered the immune system (of which the lympatic system is also a part of in its function) in Microbiology is good detail.
