I have tried to read my text but have still not done much except read the novel.
I also applied 4 times to various schools in the Sac area, and finally got in. Way to go all those that got in, and for those that did not your time will come. I had three previous regect letters times 3 schools. All I can say is there were many hard moments but it pays off in the end and when it is meant to happen it will.

Yeah I am so glad to see more ARC students on allnurses!
I finished the novel last week and I am about half way through on the Theory Objectives. Mine is due on the 14th of Aug so I have been really trying to get it done.
Are you going to take the Clinical Success class? I am for sure! I have a few other friends that are in the program and it is so good to connect while we are all normal!
Welcome and I hope to be meeting you soon!

The novel Cool Nurse is probably talking about is called The Spirit Catches You And You Fall Down. It's required reading for the program and it's an excellent book!

Re: Anyone in apply to the Sacramento Programs?

Good Morning to fellow ARC nursing students.
I do not have to turn in my objective sheet until October. I am going to finish it though before school starts. I am doing the clinical summer class and am excited. I think I would like to get into an evening clinical class, because I have kids and the night shift would work out the best for us. But you never know what number you will draw for the lottery, so I could be up in Auburn or something. HA HA.
Hope everyone is relaxing and enjoying their summer. Lots of relaxing and then more relaxing oh and late night tv, because for me once school starts I will only be watching late night text books.

Re: Anyone in apply to the Sacramento Programs?

You got lucky! I wish mine was due at the end! Ha, well it think that is just my karma.
I too am thinking that I will do the evening clinical. I really want to go to Mercy Folsom. The clinical instructor who is teaching that one has some really great reviews and feedback. Plus I think I will do better waking up at my normal time, not 5am! I really do not want Methodist because I live in the Citrus Heights area and that is way too much of a drive! Hopefully I will not have to do Auburn Faith either!
I seem to be counting down the days until school starts, I am not sure if I am anxious or scared! LoL!
