I got my acceptance letter today from American River College!!!
I have been waiting so very long for this day, after the 2 years of appling and getting rejected and trying to keep my motivation up I really do see light at the end of the tunnel.
When I opened it up is was really decieving because it was just a letter and not an manila envelope with paperwork that I had been looking for.
My head really feels like it is in the clouds!
Congratulations!! That is wonderful news! Enjoy being in the clouds, you have earned it!
I just wanted to say thank you so much to all of you! It feels so great to have a support network of people that REALLY knows what it's like in the rigors of the process.
This is my second semester applying to all sac area cc's. I'm pretty sure I'll be heading for the third try since I have yet to hear anything! I did get my CNA this semester & am working on BS transfer requirements while I wait...though still so frustrating! Good luck to you all, and congrats to those who have made it!
Hey there, I heard yesterday from two of the schools. Since I'm not jumping for joy, I guess you can tell I got the thin envelopes of rejection from Sierra and Sac City. Haven't heard from ARC yet.
I hope you fare better than I!
