I am going to be in Memphis with my two children come the Spring. I don't know anyone there, so I'm quite anxious. I know univ. of Memphis has childcare on campus, but it doesn't open until 7:30 am. I know clinicals start at 6:00 am sometimes and I won't have anywhere to take my kids that early. I need any information about daycare and elementary school hours. If there are any Univ. of Memphis students out there, speak up. Also, is there anyone who does not have clinicals in the morning and for twelve hours?

I guess no one's out there from Memphis. I found out today that I can get a childcare certificate in Memphis so I don't have that to worry about. Now on to filling out a housing application, or else I'll have to find an apartment.

So you are new to Memphis? Have you gotten accepted to University of Memphis yet? I go to Southwest Tn. community College, where I will get my ASN. I know several people at U of M. Maybe I can try to answer some of your questions. My son is also in childcare. If you have any questions just ask.

I'm not in Memphis yet; I have to move there in January. I am gonna be in Memphis on Oct. 28th for orientation/preregistration though. Yes I have been accepted and I'm very excited. Hey maybe you could show me around lol.
