Congrats to all who got in !!!!!! My acceptance information basically just said congrats you made it. When I called to accept the spot I was told more information would be sent in about a week once everyone accepted, and any spots filled by alternates. Anyway, its been about 2 weeks and I am going I crazy. I know we won't start until Aug, but I want to get started, and I want more info now lol.

I do know we will have success camp for about 3 days in a row at the end of July/beginning of Aug. I plan to wear casual, but nice clothes. I was thinking maybe some capri's one day, and maybe some longer walking shorts another.

I got in!!!!! The assistant to the Dir. of Nursing called me today at work. I was in the middle of applying highlights to my client at the salon. I almost spilled the color over. I am sooooo happy. The whole salon went crazy. Everyone knows what this means to me. I'll have orientation in July, I start in the fall. I can't beleive it. The woman who called me is the same person I talked to two years ago when I started my first class. Harcum was the first school I called and got information on. This is such a shot in the arm for me.
To everyone still waiting, stay strong, diligent, and good luck. It will happen. If you all only knew my story, you would know that if it happened for me, it can happen for anyone. My friend applied for UC Berkeley for Business with a 4.0 GPA as a transfer from CC. All As, nothing lower than that, and she got rejected.

AWWWWW YaY! I knew you'd get in! Sounds like a great reason to go out and celebrate! It feels awesome, doesn't it?! Good for you. Enjoy your summer! I start my program on Monday and we already have homework due that day lol. But, it will be sooo worth it in the end! Keep us all updated as school approaches and you start. We all need to keep on supporting each other because this is just the beginning!

As far as orientation, I wore jeans. If your going to orientation, your already accepted to the program. And it's nothing, in my opinion, you need to dress up for! Just a bunch of paperwork and going over a bunch of information.
