Re: For all of us who are sweating bullets waiting on acceptance/rejection letters...

okay, so... i'm waiting to hear whether or not i've gotten into a program that begins in january. i go to the mail today and there was an envelope from the school. no, it wasn't an acceptance letter...yet :-)! hey, gotta think positive right?

as i was saying... no, it wasn't a letter. it was a holiday card with a HANDWRITTEN note from the Office of Admission. hmmm? i appreciate their thoughtfulness, but i could've waited until december for that.

how about an acceptance letter? you know, some kind of indication as to whether i'm in or not. i was clicking through their website and found a page that says admitted students need to notify the school by december 19th if they are accepting a position in the spring class. according to the admission office, no decisions have been made yet and no acceptance letters have gone out. well, december 19th is coming up, maybe that should trump handwritten holiday cards, right?

maybe i'll know something next week... fingers crossed !

oh man that's funny, well not funny hahaha, but odd funny.

It might be a sign you are in if you are on their "personal mailing list" lol. about a week before I got my acceptance I got a nursing catalog in the mail, I remember thinking hmmm that's odd I am not a nursing student yet. I must have gotten put on a mailing list of some sort LOL. A couple friends who didn't get accepted didn't get the catalog.

No more sweating bullets...I'm IN! Third time was the charm I guess :P Feels so good to get an acceptance packet instead of an alternate letter! Prayers to all those still waiting!

Ok, that made me laugh!!!

But you are right...could have waited til after the letters went out!!!!

We got our letters around the 25th of October and we had to let them know by November 9 if we wanted our spot or not. So, it's a quick turn-around! Best of luck!!!

lalalauren87...CONGRATULATIONS on getting into the program!!! That is great!
