Sorry to hear that you got a denial letter, but glad it's not the only school you applied to so you have a good chance of getting accepted elsewhere!!! (I only have one go at it!)

Oh boy, definitely call!!! I had a friend who, two years ago, got rejected (even though she had everything done and her test grade was where it needed to be) because they said she didn't go to the informational meeting that was required within two years of attending. Well, she did attend it and they were able to verify and she was moved to #1 on the waiting list and got in...I'd be so mad if that happened and that is one of my fears is they didn't get my updated scores in my folder or something messed up like that!!!

I MADE IT!! I got the call Saturday, but didn't check my messages until yesterday morning, so I worried 2 extra days for nothing!!! I go today for advising about the spring semester. Not sure if I'll be able say anything though, b/c I'm still speechless!

Dont worry, this is my 2nd go round, (some 3rd) at applying to schools!! If you are determined you wont give up. If I give you the list of schools I applied to you'd be in shock!! Its not the end of the world, and SOME1 will take you!

Hey - I posted this on another thread but I thought I would update here. I received my acceptance letter from Santa Monica City College about a week ago. Woo Hoo. Still waiting to hear from Pasadena City College which is my first choice since it's closer.

I hope we all hear soon!
