The best advise for test takers--read what CSantos tels you to do. You have to get used to popular scientific literature. That is what you will get on reading part.
To RCastro: when I took second time test, the test WAS THE SAME including math and reading section. Now you have an advantage you know what will be on a test. Aknowledge mistakes made and go over your them.
I got my vaccines done all at once since I needed them for immigration purposes.
Books, are just crazzy, mad expensive, i habe been using
www.chegg.com where you can actualy rent the book, which comes out way cheaper.
Like I said guys, if you do not have experience test taking, use my steps, I developed them during the process of my NET preparation, since Ihave never taken any test like that, I wanted to take notes, and research the best way for me to score good on it.
Since i have't studied math for 7 years, and English is my second language (anymore i consider it first) i had to find a way to wrap it up, learn all this things, all by my self so i could do well on the test.
The test is weasy, not complicated at all, but you have to prepare your self for it, all you need is about 2 weeks, and you can do great!
try going to DHC (discovery health channel) website and read some of their articles, just as an exemple :
On my reading we had 2 texes one about mamals/hibernation
and another was aligator behavior related. so you have to be sort of familiar with terms and things like that.
DON'T BE SCARED OFF BY THE ENGLISH PORTION all you need to do is concentrate on your test, be able to analyse it (try not to deviate your train of though from it, it taks so much time to go back to the test!!!) try to absorb and comprehend the important keys of the test, and if necessary go back and check the details!
