I am considering dropping the Micro and taking it in the summer so I can focus on A and P. I am planning on applying to programs next year and have some time to spread it out a bit. I've already taken intro to bio, but, the one I took is not going to transfer.
I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about getting them all done at once or spreading it out. I am trying to figure out if 17 credits would be too much (I haven't been in school for almost 3 years) and if I am being to ambitious thinking I could do 17.
The main thing to consider is that if you are applying to a school who either solely or heavily looks at your GPA for acceptance I would be VERY cautious in taking such a full load. A P is not necessarily hard it is just A LOT of information and if you have no medical background you are going to be hearing possibly hundreds of new words every day or two so it is the amount of information that overwhelms people. I am not saying this cannot be done, I just personally would not risk my GPA just to get done a semester quicker. It could make the difference of getting vs not getting accepted into the nursing program you apply to.
