I am waiting on my letter to come in the mail.We were told they would be mailed off the first week of May.I applied in December so it has been a loong wait! Is anyone else waiting on their letter? I have a good feeling,but Im still really nervous! Good Luck to everyone waiting!!!

Wow! Since December? Which school did you apply to? If they said the first week of May then you have another 6 days to wait. Until then you just have to hang on tight. I know how anxious you are waiting for the answer just like I was when I applied.

Don't give up hope I was waiting for two schools one that said beginning of May (I got my acceptance letter yesterday) and one that said May 31st (I got my acceptance today). Both schools applications had to be in by Nov 30th so it was a long wait. Regardless, it was all worth it. Best of luck to you.

I am waiting too!!!! I was patient until today. I was supposed to get my letter last week!!!! I called today to the school and they are going to send the letters until next week !!! I'm out of patience lol I have to wait ......

Good luck to you, I'm sure you're on pins and needles while waiting. I'm going to apply this Dec. Let me know what happens.

It is a loooonnggg hard wait, especially having to apply in November or December then having to wait until May, but if it is God's will, you all will make it! I had to only wait for about 7 weeks and that short amount of time about killed me (and almost caused the mailman's death! Just kidding!!) so I can't even begin to imagine how I would feel waiting up to 7 months! Unfortunately, I DO have a 4 month wait before school starts. And orientation is just a week before then. So I can't even get excited about that. Oh well...I will have 4 classes this summer to keep me busy!

my school is great in that they sent us an email 'cause they knew we were all waiting. that's for the accelerated program, don't think they do that for the regular one though. and I got my email TODAY, I'M IN! (off the alternate list!)

My letter came in the mail yesterday! My friend called me on the cell phone on my way home from school to tell me that she got her letter. I couldn't get home fast enough! I was soooooooooooo happy and surprised because the school said they were sending them out Thursday, but we got them on Thursday. Wow...I have so much left to do, but I am extremely excited. Is anyone else starting at OCC in NJ this Fall? I think I am still in shock!... :hatparty:

Its also going to be a great summer because I am not taking any summer classes and I turn 21 in August. I can't wait to enjoy the relaxation before the "nuttiness" of Nursing school starts. Can anyone suggest any "brushing up" I should do before I start. Even though I am not doing any summer classes, I still don't want my brain to turn to "mush" by the time Sept. comes around.
