Welcome to the site

It is up to you how much time you allocate studying, I worked and found allocating atleast 2 hours a night helped me, I obviously did a bit more on days I wasn't working. Also a couple of threads in the Phillipine forum discussing this. Can find the forum by clicking the local tab near the top of the page

Can you try not to use text or short cuts when writing as makes hard to read and not everyone understands text. Also good practice in writing as with official documents only hospital recommended abbreviations can be used.

Good luck

Re: working and reviewing at the same time?

Most US nurses that are permitted graduate nurse status work while studying for the NCLEX. Those that do not work as a GN during that time, are often working as a CNA. Thus it is not unusual to work while reviewing.

I set aside several hours a night - 3-4 nights per week for review. But much depends on your own abilities.

I also reiterate, that it is best not to use texting on the BB. First, you need to practicing proper English and posting is a good way to practice. You will also find that some people look down upon it and feel that it is something done by teenagers or the poorly educated, or when coming from another area of the world, a sign that one does not know, or chooses to not use proper English.

Though, myself, anyone that can communicate in two languages, even if not perfectly, is quite impressive. And I cannot understand "texting" in many cases - to me it is a "foreign" language.

Sorry about that..
It's a good point in what you've said that I can actually practice English communication here...
Thank you for the welcome and great advice...
