When do you find out if you pass or failed the NCLEX? HOw long does it take for that, and do you get your license quickly after passing? How was this process for you, please explain. I'm really curious about this, thanks!!
Hi! I'm not sure what state you are in- it might be different according to state- but in NJ your results are posted online (on the Pearson-Vue site) 48 hours or so after taking the exam (it costs a few dollars to check, I think about $8 or so). My temporary license arrived in the mail about 2 and a half weeks after that, and my actual license arrived about a week or so after the temporary.
A lot depends on whether you have a SSN as some states will not post name on website if you haven't got one, depends on BON to whether they participate on quick results and also on how quick the BON actions your result.
When I first took the Nclex on a Saturday, I got a letter from the BON that I didn't pass on that Tuesday. I just retook boards on Thurs. 28 and I've yet to hear back from them. I guess it just depends.
