Dear All,

I want to be ready for the NCLEX exams for early next year but I don't know what's the best review material to have. There are a lot of on-line practice reviewers in the web but I dont know which one to take. I'm not sure too if I should get a book for review. If you would recommend a book, what's the best author there is?

I only recommend the Saunder's Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN. Especially even more so for foreign trained nurses. They do the best job in explaining the rationales behind each and every answer. And that is one of the most important aspects of preparing for the exam.

just pass my nclex last week. definitely KAPLAN for priority question and saunders for content review... KAPLAN was closer to nclex question, get the kaplan trainer cd from a friend or kaplan Q bank if you can afford it 300bucks i think online.

Did you take your nclex in chicago? coz am planning to take nclex in january in chicago...is it easy to get schedule there? where did you get your kaplan cd trainer? How long did you review for your nclex?

yep took it in chicago downtown! graduated may 19,2007..review about 1 month took the nclex july 10. I don't think its hard to get a scheduled in downtown just keep checking everyday for open spot. Nakuwa ko lang yong Kaplan cd trainer sa kaibigan ko install nya sa laptop ko. But i also took this Martin review class in chicago, i don't think it help, if i can do it all over again i would register for KAPLAN Q bank online. mas maganda pa yata. Kaplan nakatulong sa nclex. good luck sa exam this coming january.

Having reviewed for just a month and you made it...you must be good! Would you mind if ask what school you came from? I am a second courser and I cannot give my all during review because of other concerns like family, work, etc....But on second thought I am planning to take my exam this Oct here in manila and hopefully become a RN before going there this January. I hope you can pm me your email ad coz I'd also like to know more about immigration options, procedures, nursing work and other stuffs since you are already there...Thanks.
