You're welcome, mystic! As the other postings have mentioned, yes you have to pay. You only pay based on the amount of weeks that you plan to use the review for. In my case, I enrolled for a 3-week course and paid only $50. The questions are the same format as the NLCEX. My friend (who is very smart) recommended learningext to me after she failed the first time using Kaplan. Hope this helps. Good luck with your studying!

Take a couple of days off to wollow in your feelings of failure. Have a gallon of ben & jerry ice cream and cry your eyes out. Then roll up your sleeves and get back on the saddle again. My mentor told me to have a very salty meal the night before the test. Wear yellow or red clothing. Roll a pen or pencil in my left hand during the test to stimulate my brain. I will also definitely have some chamomile tea the night before my NCLEX as well. I test in a couple of weeks. I'm have been so nervous about failing sometimes i think my head is going to explode. I just want to get it over with. Wish me luck

I am trying to take the NCLEX after 10 plus years graduating from nursing. Thanks for the help. Right now I am reviewing NSNA RN audio review. Trying to see if that Suzzane's plan would work for me or if it's only for new grads.
