waiting for NCLEX results

My husband took the exam last friday and we're waiting for the results. Im waiting almost as anxious as he is! He got 180 questions, and at the end the questions were easy. He also missed almost all of the pharma questions. He was so disheartened after taking it... it also breaks my heart. I actually cried for hours last night listening to him say it was not at all what he expected (or at least hte Pharma portion). They were bombarding him with so many pharma questions which he couldnt answer. So many drugs he hadnt heard of. And some herbal medicine he blanked out on. So we're 98% sure he failed. We're just waiting for the results to be right there in front of our face... at the same time hoping that maybe , just maybe, there could still be hope!

I dont know what else to say except that writing and sharing is therapeutic right now... and well, I can only hope and pray that there might be a miracle for us! Since we're struggling and really hoping for a break! Thanks for reading guys! My bestest friend in the whole world is so down, and so am I that i dont think we can even give each other quality hugs coz we suck out each other's comfort!!!! I wish it was Tuesday already so we can move on!)

Re: waiting for NCLEX results

If your state allows quick result, you can actually check the result tomorrow. I took my exam on Thursday and I had my quick result today (Sat). You just need to logon to pearsonvue.com and sign on. When your result is ready, you can use a credit card to pay and it show the result.

I had lots of priortizing questions and I thought I failed at 96, but I passed. The questions were somewhat easier towards the end too. Good luck !

Re: waiting for NCLEX results

wow that's great news. u had my prayers too. i just took it on sat. i'm a wreck... i totally relate to the pharm situation. it was so untherapeutic when an LVN "friend" of mine asked me last night if I had a lot of pharm and then replied to me, "that's not good." i'm trying my best to hang in there. hope i get your luck.

Re: waiting for NCLEX results

Great news to hear.

And for the others that are reading this: Pearson-Vue has results up 48 hours after you test, meaning that two days later you will see your results, does not matter if it is a weekend, or holiday. Computers do not take the time off. But this is only for those of you that take the exam for a state that permits early results, there are only about 27 of them at do.
