Unhappy for those who used Mosby's online CAT....

I asked this one before and I don't think anyone wrote me back specifically about this....

I've been doing the Mosby's online CAT and getting about 70-75% correct and it tells me I have a 94% chance of passing the NCLEX (I've done it 3 times). I test tomorrow.

For those of you who used Mosby's...and passed...what was the prediction it gave you?

I am getting really nervous....

Sounds like you're in good shape. I had a similar prediction (can't remember exactly the percentage) and it was accurate in my case. I haven't heard of anyone who has failed the NCLEX after receiving a >90% chance on Mosby CAT.

Oh thank you, thank you!! You just lowered my blood pressure significantly. Better than a beta blocker . I'll keep everyone posted. I'm in WA and I should have my results by Monday...

I second the thumbs up for what you just said, Eric! I have been doing the Mosby CAT as well and have been getting a '94-99%' chance of passing. I don't take the NCLEX until 7/31, so I guess I'll have to update whether or not it's accurate on 8/2.

Good luck!

I get the 94% also and test next week. I can feel for you as I keep wanting to call and make a later test date. Dh keeps saying no, just take it and get it over with.

Re: for those who used Mosby's online CAT....

maybe iyts just me but i bought the mosby CAt.. i got between 94-96%. I did the saunders and didnt do so well..i was in study mode so it tells me the correct answer as i answer it. I did the Kaplan diagnostic and i was right at the top of borderline. So i stopped using the Mosby cos i felt it was "false reassurance"..and concentarted on the Kaplan and Saunders...well..i found out i passed with 75 questions this morning so maybe the mosby wasnt that bad or wrong afterall...
