Wink Shed off those nursing school pounds

While waiting for my NCLEX result-- I plan to do a lot of running, biking, swimming, surfing, and hiking-- it will take some of that anticipation as well as the weight off!
oh yeah...
And make/eat a decent meal

Go for a long drive on a scenic road

have a party :hatparty:

get out of town for the weekend

rent a funny movie ...I say rent because I hate the movie theaters

play with your dog, cat, kids, husband....whatever needs to be played with

read just for fun

take a day where you don't do anything.....call these Me days. They are VERY refreshing!

I also liked the idea of playing a video game for fun....it is true...blowing stuff up is very cathartic!

These are all great ideas! I'll try to step out of my anxiety bubble a little and do some of them! I took NCLEX today and yes, I am a nervous wreck!

Hey! For everyone waiting to hear their results from NCLEX-if you want to distract yourself go see "War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise. Wow! What a captivating movie! It was the ONLY thing so far that actually took my mind off of my NCLEX for a couple of hours! It was so interesting. Leave it to aliens to make me forget about nursing!

things to do while waiting

Think about how nice if will be to spend some of your new RN$$ on a splurge item just for yourself. I plan on buying the entire BareEscentuals collection

Fairemaid-who will be taking the NCLEX exactly one week from today

My kitchen counters get everything removed, I scrub and soak and polish appliances and nooks and crannies. I clean out the fridge (CLEAN, not just empty!). I polish the furniture. I scrub stains of unknown origin off my kids floors.

My hands stay busy, my house looks great, and I used up that anxiety energy!
Dude! I thought I was the only one that did this
