Today I tested for the first time. It seemed that the test was throwing illnesses and drugs that I have never even heard of at me the whole time, in fact I think they must have just invented these illnesses and drugs just in time for me to test. (HAHA)
Anyway there were a lot of dosage questions also. I think I did okay on those. My test shut of at 85 (NCLEX-PN). I know that does not indicate a pass fail . . . I have a gut feeling that I totally bombed it. I'm trying to feel optimistic here. I really want to know . . . In this situation what are my odds knowing that I probably got more than a few wrong, but knowing i got a few right too . . . . . . . . *Pulls hair out and screams* I just wanna know!!!!! LOL

You probably passed. If you know you got some right you're in good shape. Remember, this isn't a traditional test where you need to get x percentage correct to pass.

Now go relax. You'll get your results in 48 hours, unless you're in California, where they seem to enjoy torturing people who just tested.

Thanks. Yep I am in Cali . . . I get tortured for about a month.
So . . . ummm I do not fully understand how they are scored.

I can't explain it well, but it's you get a question. Answer it wrong. Get another questions of the same difficulty level. Get it right. The next questions is a bit more difficult.

As long as they keep getting harder and have you muttering, "What the hell??!!!" as they pop up you're in good shape.

Well they defiantly had me muttering things . . . I had ear plugs in . . . so I hope I wasn't muttering too loud . . . Others may have thought I had turrets syndrome. I'm sure they kept a recording of me for personal entertainment if I was speaking the words that came to mind. Ok . . . so I guess thats a good sign.

Future RN Mandi, I will keep you in my prayers. I also took mines today but I don't feel like I passed but what am I to do but pray. At this point, it is in God's hands. So please keep me in your prayers and I will do the same for you.

keep your faith and relax. you did your best and rest the case now...
the waiting will make you scream but hang in there ok... maybe it could take 2days (net) to 2 weeks (mail)...
