i have 25 days left before i test again. i am feeling anxious. i have prayed but i am nervous. i feel like i do not know anything,but i am studying and answering questions on the computer as well. i took the kaplan review online and i am reviewing the saunders cd as well. any comments are welcome and needed.

Well, I'd expect you to be nervous, that's normal. As for not knowing anything, well....how are you doing in your studies? What kinds of scores are you getting in which reviews? Kaplan scores are always lower than the others because their questions are just that much harder. Saunders gives a good base of general knowledge if you need work there.

on the kaplan quetion trainer i score around 65-70 percent on a test.
i read saunders book when i do not understand a problem. i need to answer more questions in a different book, the first time i took my boards i had alot of the new format questions and my anxiety level when up.

Breathe....make sure you look at ALL the rationales on the Kaplan questions. Review your meds...here's a simple breakdown of some: http://www.fla-ortho.com/frames/libr...teraction.php3

Look on the bright side: the whole process is familiar to you now...you know how the test center operates, you're familiar with the computer testing, and you've met the "beast". Only this time you'll be even more prepared!!

AM I ALONE ?

I just retook the NCLEX today for the second time. It seemed easier, but this time I took all 265 vs the 75 the first time. I still felt like when I was taking the test, I should know this, but was only able to narrow it down to 2 and hopefully picked the right one. It is frustrating because I thought I was prepared the first time, but this time even more so, and now the next 48 hours will be terrible. Is there any truth to the first person in the room to take the exam gets 265 questions?

Check out the other thread where this was answered for you, but no - the only reason that a candidate would get 265 is because the computer needed that many questions to make a firm pass/fail decision.
