Taking my NCLEX-PN on JULY 8th

Hey everyone!!! I'm new to this site... I've been reading a lot of forums here for a while now... I'm very nervous because I'm taking my Nclex pn this saturday.... I don't know what to expect... I feel like I should rescheduled my test date because I am not doing too hot on the NCSBN review... I've been getting like mid 50's and high 60's... I have been doing the review for two weeks now... I redo all the one that i get lower than a 75%... I've also been studying DEL MAR, Saunders, Lippincott CD.... and they seems to be easier than the NCSBN.... I don't know what else to prepare myself for before the test... I have like 3 days left... What should I DO?

Re: Taking my NCLEX-PN on JULY 8th

I just took the nclex pn on the 26th of June and passed. I studied Saunders, I did about 100 questions a day. I feel that this really prepared me for the test. I also started having second thoughts about if I was ready or not the week before the exam. I think it was just nerves. I am sure the majority of people feel this way just before their test. Keep your chin up and I am sure you will do fine. The very best of luck to you!!!!!!

Hi Leeleechee and welcome to allnurses.

Everyone has butterflies when it comes to the NCLEX. What I might suggest for you, the mod of this forum Suzanne4, has a GREAT study plan for those taking either the NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN. All you need to do in send your email address to her in a PM. Look at the study plan and determine for yourself to see if you want to do her plan, I believe it takes 6 weeks. If you want to do her plan, the you can reschedule the NCLEX. It's up to you and how much you feel you need to study. BTW, she has an EXCELLENT success rate with her plan, so if you feel like you are far behind (and only you can determine that) it might be a wise investment in time (and money in retest fees) to do her plan. Oh, her plan is free...

Best of luck to you and I hope you do well.
