Try not to worry, I took my boards in CA back when we had to wait six weeks to receive our results through the mail. *Hoping here for great results

Re: Still No Results!

To clear up any false information that you may have heard or gotten from someplace:

1. CA does not participate in Quick Results.
2. Average wait time is ten whole days.
3. Fastest time is three days, but that is definitely not the normal for them.
4. Time can go up to a month.

There is not a thing that you can do to speed them up or change anything. When the results are sent from Pearson-Vue to the BRN, they are placed in your file. Then the file is reviewed by a human. They do not work holidays or weekends. When the file is considered complete and they have had clearance on your fingerprints, they will issue a license number to you and you will then see your name on their website. Until you get actuall confirmation from them, do not assume anything.

Best of luck to you.

1st ) go to http://www.rn.ca.gov/
2nd) look at the left side of the page; click on 'Online Services'
3rd) look at the middle of the page; click on 'Online License Verification'
4th) type in your Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial or follow the directions.

If you are a registered nurse in California, your name will appear, followed by the two initials -- RN. Good luck. Tell me what happens....

Re: Still No Results!

I am sorry to hear that.... Taking a break for awhile may be of help.... When you do get back to studying, focus on the topics that are more challenging to you.... Make sure that you know the nursing content.... This is where Saunders is good at.... Also, know the strategies of answering nursing questions.... This is where Kaplan is good at.... Remember your ABCs, Maslow's, ANPIE Nursing Process.... Know your drugs.... Prepare for the atypical questions, particularly the 'select all that applies'....

Good Luck

Re: Still No Results!

IVY, I'm so sorry to hear that. Don't worry you'll get them next time. wait a couple months to take them again. Use the computer CDs. The Test is on the computer, so get used to using one. Get into a set routine as soon as possible i.e wake up, EAT A BALANCED BREAKFAST, then either go to work, or jump on the computer. Do NOTHING new on the day you take your test next. This is why a routine is good.
