Re: Posting questions taken directly from NCLEX exam

[quote=suzanne4]Please take a moment and remember that you agreed not to publish questions that are on the exam. That is exactly what you are doing by posting them here. They are covered also under copyright laws.
This site is Googled around the world, and you could find yourself in trouble down the line.
No problems with asking someone what they would do, but when you quote the question exactly as it was on the exam, and stating that it was from there, you are opening yourself for trouble.

More than likely those questions are not REAL NCLEX questions & answers, but are good study questions. This is what you need to find out.
As far as REAL...I understand your concern. I also have a folder where I have saved all the questions from other sites. (They are all NCLEX Study questions, not the real thing.)

Should I delete them? I dont want to do anything that would be cheating. If I cant pass it honestly, I dont want to pass it. Someone please let me know. Thanks.

OK. Good deal. I was just keeping them till I got ready to take the test, and then maybe, just maybe they would help.
I am stressing so bad already just about Pharmacology next semester. I guess we should just see if I ever do make it to the NCLEX.

Some of the best advice I received in nursing school was to NOT WORRY ABOUT THE NCLEX! Please don't even think about it at this point. Just focus on your classes at this point. Focus on what you're taking right NOW. It's a good idea to get an NCLEX book to do practice questions so it'll help on the exams in nursing school, not so much on the NCLEX. Then during the last semester of nursing school your school will probably have some kind of NCLEX review course. And then you can start doing practice questions more seriously and just focus on that.
You'll be ok. Good luck to you!

Thank you so much raindreamer. You seem to have more confidence in me than I do, lol. So far, I am doing ok, but I have Pharmacology next. I think if I can get through that, I can make it through nursing school. I am praying hard.

Exactly, but I do enjoy cracking open my NCLEX-RN Questions & Answers Made Incredibly Easy book every now and then.
I also like the different sites that e-mail questions/med info/ or terminology, just as a 'get my mind in the right mode of thinking' accessory.
It's amazing to me exactly how many I get right. I hope that's a good sign for both Nursing School and the NCLEX.

yes, i really doubt that sort of behavior would help you in a way that would be better than simply studying. i would imagine the benefit would be so incredibly slight that it wouldn't even bear consideration.
not to mention the fact that it's unethical to cheat.
honestly, any test with the pass rate of nclex (around 70%, i think) is easy enough to do the right way. if you're going to cheat on the nxclex, does this mean you'll cheat on vitals signs or giving meds or other areas of patient care?

I dont expect any of it to be easy. It liked to have kicked my butt, but I made A's in both classes, and I did it honestly. I am not about to ever do it otherwise.
