Peasrson results right?

I talked to a lady from the NYS BON yesterday who gave me the very distinct impression that I failed the NCLEX (Although she didnt out and say it because she couldnt), HOWEVER, I went on pearson this morning to check the quick results and it says pass.... What do you think??

They aren't going to say whether or not you passed via phone. If your pearson results say you passed. You passed. Congrats.

Re: Peasrson results right?

dont go by "impressions" go by facts. If you see the word pass you did. If you see a lic number on the states web site--you have one!!!

Congrats.

PASS=PASS

She probably had no clue if you passed or not when you called yesterday.

Congrats

Re: Peasrson results right?

Well, she said she had my results in her hand, and then proceeded to tell me how to re-take the exam, and that she was mailing out my scores report

Re: Peasrson results right?

No one at the BON can ever give any results over the telephone, it would actually get them fired.

Pearson-Vue only states unofficial results as they are not the ones that issue a license, but whatever they do post is the thing to go by. Never what someone has told you over the phone, and you do not even know if they actually had the correct file in their hands either.

Just wait until you see your name on their website, and it should give you a license number next to your name. Pearson-Vue results are always available 48 hours after testing.

Re: Peasrson results right?

This is why one should only check with the results from Pearson-Vue and not contact the BON; they are never able to give results over the phone.
And we have seen many screw-ups because of this.

Have never seen the results posted on Pearson-Vue to be incorrect.

You are quite welcome.
