Well, I can tell you in approximations the type of questions I answered but it really won't be all that helpful to you. The test is adaptive to each individual taking the test. I probably did about 25% pharm questions (no joke) and another 20% were GI. Lots of priority, some infection control, ONE psych question. No OB, no peds. This may not be your test, though. In fact, it's likely NOT to be your test.

This link tells you a little bit of general information about how the test is distributed, but as lisamc1 said, everyone's exam is different.

Re: To the ones who took the nclex-pn recently???

every test is completely different. For example, I did not have one math calculation on my test, one friend had 5, and another had over 10. I do remember though, that a lot of questions consisted of prioritizing. Like, which patient would you care for first? What would be the next thing you would do in x situation? I had maybe 2 psych questions. I also had quite a few Pharmacology questions (I actually had 5 questions that involved Calcium Channel Blockers)...how you would administer certain pills, contraindications, side effects, etc. I had about 3 Nutrition questions. I took that test a little over 6 months ago, but I do remeber that in every question, I felt like I was playing a guessing game between 2 choices. They both may have been right but which one was the BEST choice. I can honestly say that studying for the NCLEX didn't help me at all. Nothing I studied was on that test. What did help me though was taking the practice NCLEX question. It helped to prepare for the actual test. Saunders has great practice questions. Good luck!!!
