...and now I sit and wait

I just got back from taking the NCLEX. I thought it was REALLY hard. I had 75 questions and it took me 1 hour and 53 minutes. I definitely took my time! I was on question 72 and was starting to sweat, just praying for the computer to shut off. It started off okay and after question 5 or 6 I thought the questions got very difficult. Lots of priority, about 4 drug calcs, 7 or so medication questions (side effects, etc.), teaching, 1 herbal, some legal questions, hipaa, a few L&D, some Pedi teaching, F&E, etc. I am so glad it is over! And now I sit and wait...

I wish you luck! I'm sure that you can see from previous posts that the trend seems to be that 75 questions is a good sign!

Re: ...and now I sit and wait

Just took my NCLEX this morning, I finished in a little over an hour with just about 100 questions.

I've been reading all the posts and analysis on the statistics and what the # of questions really means, but I'm just getting a headache.

I may never know what the probablity of passing is when the computer shuts off at 100, but what I do know now is that EVERYONE feels like they failed and either cried or wanted to vomit,.
and I am no different. So I guess I'll just sit and wait with you and hopefully we will have some great news on Wednesday.

Good Luck to All!!

Re: ...and now I sit and wait

I wish you the best of luck...I ended up taking it three times..and best I can see I truly believe in the last question right theory if you have more than 75 questions. I never stopped at 75 any of the times. I had 265, 76 et 86..and now I am finally done! So I am sure you both did fine!!

Re: ...and now I sit and wait

I took it today too. 75 questions and not sure of how i did. I got NO math. Dont know if thats good or bad. Have a friend who failed it a few weeks ago with 75 questions, so I know that it can go either way. I am hoping there is a flaw int he system somewhere and my results are posted tomorrow- then I will know if I can go to work or not
hate the waiting.
peace to all of us!

Hang in there, I cant even remember how many times I checked the site for my resluts. I worked 7p to 7a last night. I must have checked at least once an hour after midnight.
