Shakira,

You're not the only one. I went back to the pearson site later in the day after I got my initial result, the next day and then the day after that just to make sure it STILL said pass, lol. I just wanted to give them a couple of days to remedy a mistake if there was one.

ROFL....OMG, I was trying to convince my dh that I am NOT the most neurotic person ever about this stupid test, and that it was NOT crazy to go back to the Pearson site to make sure it hadn't "changed"!! LOL....

I went back twice that same day

Mostly, though, after being sure it still said pass...I liked SEEING the WORD

Let me put it this way: if I had to pay each time I looked at the results, I would have to take out a second mortgage on the farm!! LOL

Re: is this normal?!?

I think I looked several time just to make sure it didn't change from pass to fail. Still waiting to see my name or get my license from the state. Will not be convinced until I get that.

Re: is this normal?!?

I never paid to check Pearson's website or their hotline. I found out via WI's Dept of Licensing & Regulation website that I passed. Checked it several times on the day I found out. Had co-workers & friends check for me so that I knew it wasn't a dream. They all saw what I saw: "Active" in the spot for "License Status".

Well, after 2 days of waiting to get my license in the mail, I started getting worried that it was all a mistake. Why, you ask? Because all my friends who had taken their exam & passed received their license in the mail within 2 days of taking their exam. Day 3 after finding out I passed came & went, still with no license in the mailbox. Day 4 came & went, still with no license in the mailbox. Finally on Day 5, I received it in the mail. It was the best piece of mail I've received in a loooonnnnnngggggggg time.

Ok, YOU win the prize, lol.....that's gotta be the best case of NCLEX-related neurosis I've EVER seen! HOLDING a physical license, STILL pays eight bucks to see it on Pearson!

I had also heard that the Pearson results never get changed once they're posted. But when it's your OWN license at stake <grin>, you wanna CHECK!

How funny.
