You cannot challenge the PN exam, you can only sit for it
if you have completed at least the required number of hours in an approved school of nursing to be able to.
The only people that can challenge the PN exam are those that were medics in the military and that is only in Virginia and California, and their licenses cannot be endorsed to any other state.

The PN exam requires that you prepare for it, the same way that you do for the RN exam but there is quite a bit of different material on that exam, and you will need to get the book for that one.
