Hi Gang -

First of all, let me say this is a great site ... friendly and helpful members and staff.

I am taking my NCLEX-RN on Thursday July 17 at 2:00 in the afternoon. I have seen all the posts recommending NOT to study tomorrow ... UGH How can you resist that urge? I am confident, yet VERY nervous. Did well in school, Kaplan review - doing ok on those tests .. but, reading the posts .. it seems OVERWHELMING. Any advice?

im in the same boat...NCLEXRN thur at 8am
im so excited to get it over with but so so so nervous... i was also wondering about the no study the day before rule, im the type of person where if i dont do anything about the test the day before i think it will make me so much more nervous knowning that i could be studying but im not.. my idea is to not look at any questions just to skim some notes that i had written.. and try to get reeeeeeeeally good sleep... but im still nervous becuase everyone insists on not studying at all the day before..
ill be so happy when thur is over... hopefully

Good Luck kscuba ... you're correct ... WE CAN DO THIS ! But that doesn't alleviate any of the nervousness hahaha. Good night's sleep? I haven't had one of those since nursing school began

Take the time for yourself until the exam, and that means away from the computer as well. Just chill and do something fun.

Actually no. I always tells everyone to quit at 1200 on the day before the final day; which whould have been 12 hours ago today for you. Actually about four days earlier is best.

Best of luck on your exam, and now go and turn the computer off and take tomorrow just for yourself and do something fun.

so i decided to listen to everyone and got my nails done and went out to luch....soo glad i listened cause it was a lot more relaxing than last minute studying
ill let you know how it goes tommrow
