hi..i took my exam last thursday and i stopped at 75..im really quite nervous ..how long does it takes before they mail the result here in California?

You don't have to wait for the result to be mailed to you. You can check on the California BON website for your name as early as 3 business days. If your name shows up, you have passed the national boards for the NCLEX RN. Note: It can take up to 2 to 4 weeks to receive something in the mail. If you a foreign grad and do not have a SSN, you will not receive your results anytime soon; the CA BON does not issue a RN license without a SSN.

Click on "Online license verification" for permanent licenses.

If you do not see your name posted after 2 weeks, call the CA BON and be sure all your records are in order. Sometimes, they can not read the fingerprints properly or they did not receive your official transcript, so they can not process your license. Note: you may be on hold waiting to speak to someone. After my exam, I saw my results 3 days on line and received my actual license in 5 days. Good luck!

CA-BRN does not issue the license without SSN, but they do issue exam results (generally about 4 weeks to overseas addresses, from what I have seen on this forum). They can provide a letter stating you have passed and just need to provide your SSN to get the license issued.

so basically i can't be able to see if i pass the exam thru their website? i have to wait for the mail stating that i passed the exam? i don't have SSN.. thanks..
