Question NCLEX review books in nursing school.

Hi Everyone,

I am assuming that most people on this thread graduated in the recent past and are now preparing for the NCLEX. Good luck to you all and congratulations to all those that have passed. I am in my 1st semester of a 4 semester accelerated BSN program and have some ways to go yet.

Would any of you recommend buying a NCLEX book like Saunders or Kaplan to use as a study guide while in nursing school? Would it be helpful in preparing for nursing school exams?

Thanks
Didi

I had an instructor that made the Saunders review book a requirement for her class. Myself, I found it to be pretty helpful. Good luck to you in your training!

Saunders - it's broken into sections which will help you focus, see and practice questions much more easily.

Kaplan is a good book when you are done and getting ready to study for HESI if you take that, your finals or NCLEX.
