i just called the VA BON and was told that I Passed!!! I have a licensed!!!!! i'm so freaking happy right now! and it's only 8:30 in the morning! oh my gosh, i feel light as a feather right now. thanx everyone who has helped me over the year. i'm so glad i found this site and i'm never leaving it!! i have to call everyone in my family now.

i took NCLEX exam from VA board.how many days after taking ur exam u got ur result??

Did you take it today? if so then your kinda in better shape than I was...lol. If you take it Mon-Thurs, then you can call the BON the next morning (they say after 9am) and they can verify your results with you on the phone w/your social security number. If you take it on Friday or Saturday then you have to wait until Monday morning. That happened to me. And that was the longest weekend in my life. My friend was smart enough to take hers on a Tues. and found out on Weds. I was so nervous that I couldn't wait until 9am so I called at 8:32 (they don't open until 8:15). don't rely on the automated system or the website, b/c it usually takes about 2 days to post there. Whereas if you speak with someone directly at the BON you can find out the next morning after your test. Pearson sends your results electronically to the BON as soon as you complete your test and they just download them the next morning when they open. I only know all this b/c i tortured myself after my test. I hope this helps you. in case you don't have the number it's 1-804-662-9909 option number 7 (direct person). I live in virginia beach Va, but i'm from chesterfield county! I'm actually trying to move back there, but I can't seem to find a JOB there for some reason. I miss it soooooo much. are you finding it hard to find a job too? My sister has a client who works over at Bon Secours and they hire LPN's but the position she wants to fill is for like telephone referrals and I reall want something clinical, and preferably in the hospital. what school did you go to there? feel free to email me anytime @mzzcharmin@yahoo.com. again congratulations
